HOUSES

All the students at Doon Oxford School are divided into four Houses that help build within them a competitive spirit.

Four Houses at Doon Oxford School:
1. CHEETAH
2. JAGUAR
3. PANTHER
4. LEOPARD

Implementing a House system is important in a school in order to develop a sense of belonging to a group, to inculcate a healthy competitive spirit and to ensure the balanced growth of the students physically, intellectually and spiritually. Thus Doon Oxford School is also divided into four Houses. Each child is assigned a House and gets an opportunity to participate in various inter-house and class competitions representing their respective Houses.
The four Houses are all named after strong animals that command respect in their respective environments.
